Any-who lets get on with it.

Music truly has saved my life. On a daily basis it touches me and makes me look at my word in a different way. For example:
The other day I was listening to "Hallelujah" by Jeff Buckley and I thought, "wow life is truly amazing". I know this sounds corny and clique but, this song alone has changed my life. It touches me not only because it lets me know how triumphant and glorious life can be. How everyone needs to have faith in true love and give in to its power.

Now I know this is a little romantic but I am a Introspective Romantic as the title of my blog suggests. People that know me may be like what? Phil an Introspective Romantic?
Well I am its just that sometimes I'm a little embarrassed to show it. I can be callous and realistic but this is just what the world at large does to me. It molds me and changes me to be a hard person but get into a good conversation with me about music and you'll discover my true nature.
Which brings me back to the true purpose of this blog post. Music is truly the way to the good life. Let it surround you, consume you, and improve you. Take ten minutes in your day sit down. NO DISTRACTIONS. listen to music. pick something calming lets say Jack Johnson. Think about your day and let your troubles float away like the lyrics to the music. I know its hard but its vital to having a full complete life. I promise you will live for 5 extra years.*

Song suggestions:
Any thing by Jack Johnson
Over The Rainbow/ What A Wonderful World by Israel Kamakawiwo Ole
Fix You by Coldplay (especially when you're having relationship problems)
Blackbird by The Beatles
Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven (if you're feeling classical... pun intended)
No Woman, No Cry by Bob Marley (again for the relationship problems. humm)
Brighter Than the Sunshine by Aqualung
and many more

*=I really can't make this promise for I am not a Medical Doctor nor a Practicing Physician.
